Extensive damage due to downpour in Mid region, more rainfall is expected still.

Yesterday the Midregion was hardhit with a rainstorm. The regional civilians and civil servants set about recovery work painstakingly.

3 people lost their lives due to the rainfall that began on Sunday morning, 4 were lost and almost 3,400 houses were damaged due to the flood, reported the Central Natural Disaster center.

But more rain is expected till tomorrow and the Central Natural Disaster Center officials expected that more damage will be done.
