at the stake of eternity I built a love

at stake was my eternity

so I built a love

 

there were modest findings

and simple joys

 

at stake was my daily happiness

so I linked up eternity

 

there were endless joys come and gone

but they remained yet unflawed unfragmented

 

yet there were fragments of woe and pain and sadness

these I delivered upto the Lord for forgiveness, healing and passion

 

there are every joys turned

and some woes took a lifetime of history

to waive away the sin of eternal tragedy
