with a window fan on to rush in the morning air venting the room

morning dark and gleam is here

quiet reverie

and the noise of rushing cars outside the window picking up

 

the morning chill

fresh and dawning

 

the morning dew slowly turning into morning frost

on the awnings out in the fields outside

 

the cool of a summer morn

the chill of an autumn dawn

and the cold depth fresh of a winter twilight

 

maybe it is the low temperature of a beginning day

that freshens one's thought

 

 

Let the air rush in from my room window fan

bringing hither inside

the very cool morning air

 

and wake me afresh.
