somewhat a long morning ~~ because I awoke early !

I have seen the long shadowy morning turn light

and the world slowly turning and churning felt in my own room

 

and it's been a lengthened vigil since I awoke quite early

early enough to be in the dark of the morn before the twilight sets in

 

the day comes in slowly 

and I at my little sofa with the bible

contemplate 

on God's Living Word!!

 

What bliss to greet morning 

with a scripture on your mind !!
