two weeks - a fortnight absence of chickens

the chicken houses are empty right now

the windrow is over and the ground is soft and spread even in the chicken houses

one fan from each house is continually spinning vacuuming dusty air and keeping the houses fresh with new air pulling in.

 

It's a quiet period since we are taking a break from the busy repairs and maintenance of the houses.

and the time meanwhile can be truly silent and quiet.

 

the sounds of the peppers busily shooting up in their places out in the field patch

where they have been planted a month back

fresh looks of green leaves sprouting is a pleasure indeed

 

the roses are in full bloom this year

and by the unused swimming pool

the rosebush is heavily laden in abundance on its leaning and hanging over branches

 

the evergreens the Green Giants are as high and pointed as ever

keeping the farm enclosed and bestowing a green sight all about the farm

 

the house in the wake of all the birds on its premise

shines in faded white and red colors

and gleams under the sun so bright
