brief torrents of rain at nightfall

evening chicken house rounds 

after a comforting sleep in the afternoon after a talk session with dad

 

sleepily I head down to the living room

but rain suddenly drops from sky

 

dad and I wait

but rain shows no sign of stopping 

 

we head out

change to boots

then trudge to the houses 

in the rain
