The view of from a cottage in the woods is calm.

The fireplace is ablaze

And the pot is boiling.

The lady gazing soon departs from the fenetre and walks over to the pot and gives it a stir.

 

There is a knock on the door.

It's a soldier.

 

May I spend the night, madam?

 

Do come in. But I can't keep you for more than one night.

 

One night is more than I can expect, madam. Thank you.

 

The soldier comes in. He takes off his hat.

 

The lady has him sit on the couch by the fireplace.

The air outside is chill.

The soldier's cheeks are red.

만난 한 오두막집 여인.

맛난 식사와 잠자리를 기대할 수 있겠습니다.

 

 

현대:

먼 여행길.

비행기를 타고

호텔이나 inn에 들어가

샤워를 하고

그 다음날 관광할 계획을 세워봅니다.

 

여러분,

 

여행길의 옛 예측못할 만남은

낯선 풍경의 어디 머무를지 모를 길을 첩첩리 걸어가는 모양.

이제는 satellite로 안내가 다 되는 낯선 길을 찾아가는

하지만 낯선 사람들과 처음보는 광경은 여전히 낯설고 예측할 수 없습니다.
